Luxardo Limoncello

Luxardo have been making limoncello to a family recipe first advertised in 1905. Southern Italian lemons are infused at length, peel, pulp and juice together, and the recipe was enriched in 2010 with around a quarter more fresh juice and essential oils.

Almost luminous golden yellow, with clean lemon zestiness and a hint of white pepper. Syrupy without being sickly, balanced by fresh zest, and long on citrus acidity. Serve it chilled, over ice, or lengthened with soda or tonic.
