One of the great sweet vermouths, a faithful reproduction of a recipe from Benedetto Carpano's collection dating to the late 1780s. Rich and full, showing vanilla, dried fruit and a bitter-orange depth, it lifts a Manhattan or a Negroni and is lovely over ice on its own.
