Cynar Artichoke Liqueur

A bittersweet Italian amaro created in 1949, flavored with thirteen botanicals including the leaves of the artichoke (Cynara scolymus) that give it its name. Bittersweet and mildly spicy, showing stewed vegetable, caramel and toffee over a quinine bitterness and a faint smokiness.
