Fernet Branca

The great Milanese bitter, made since 1845 from thirty roots and herbs including gentian, camomile, saffron and rhubarb, and aged a year in Slovenian oak. Assertive and bittersweet, showing pungent peppermint and spicy licorice over camomile and citrus zest, with a long, minty-herbal finish. A bartender's staple, neat as a digestivo or in a Hanky Panky.
